Small watercolors
I've been making smaller watercolors recently of small subjects. I suppose they're like studies for larger works that never get made, or like a set of preludes without anything following.
"Finger," 2012, watercolor, 8 x 6 in.
"Nothing," 2012, watercolor, 6 x 8 in
"Run," 2012, watercolor, 6 x 8 in.
"Shine," watercolor, 2011, 10 x 7 in.
"Never is," 2012, watercolor, 6 x 8 in.
The real advantage of course is that I can work on two paintings at once all on a half sheet of paper. Imagine how much tape I'm saving!
